Tasty Bread Pulav from Leftover bread




Many a times we have leftover food in our kitchen which we don't like to eat again. I usually try to transform it into new delectable recipe which now I decided to share it with all of you. Sometimes we have 1-2 days old bread in our refrigerator or scraps of bread slices we used in some recipe. We can use that to make delicious recipe apart from making bread crumbs from that. So I am going to share a scrumptious breakfast/ evening snack recipe from that bread. The best part is that you can make it with the fresh bread also. Here is the list of ingredients we require for this recipe:

Ingredients:
A day old bread slices or bread scraps - 4-5 slices
Carrot - 1 (small) (chopped)
Green Peas - 1/2 cup
Capsicum - 1 (small) (chopped)
Tomato - 1 (chopped)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp.


Method:
1. Chop the bread slices into small pieces or crumble it with your hands.
2. Heat the oil in a pan. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds in it.
3. When it starts crackling then add chopped onion into it and saute it.
4. When it turns translucent then add chopped carrot, green peas and capsicum into it. You can add any veggies or sprouts of your choice. Also add chopped tomatoes into it.
5. When all the veggies tenders then add dry spices: turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, dry mango powder and salt to taste into it and mix it well.
6. After that add tomato ketchup into it. Then add chopped bread into it and mix it well.
7. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves into it amd mix it. Tasty Bread pulav is ready. Serve it hot.

You can serve it as breakfast or evening snack or as a tiffin box recipe.
